Bordeaux-style wine bottle (green glass)

This light green cylindrical bottle was reconstructed from fragments found in the Lot 35 tavern cellar. This bottle style, with a string rim, sloping shoulders, and a circular pontil scar, is indicative of the French method of bottle making; it is likely a Bordeaux wine bottle (Martin 1977:32)
