These sherds are from a redware vessel with a maroon glaze on its exterior, and greenish manganese streaks or stripes. There is a serpentine pattern of incising alternating with incised lines visible on some of the sherds. The interior of the vessel has a greenish-yellow glaze. We suggest that this vessel might be a pitcher because of the larger of the two rim sherds is curved and looks like the beginnings of a spout.
